Glimpse of South Africa - Self Drive 7 Nights / 8 Days

• Above all the rates are tentative and if there is any surcharge in your travelling dates then this rates may change (Peak season surcharges may applicable)  
• Payment to be made as per the current rate of exchange on the day of final payment and we charge 0.25p more than exchange rates online 
• Services Taxes of 5% is Applicable on above Total Tour Cost per Passenger.

• If you choose self Drive pkg option you must have valid credit card under your name with limit of 1 Lac Limit.
• If you choose self Drive Pkg Option you must have Valid Driving License in English 

• Your Itinerary will be strictly on timings. Please reach at pickup point at least 10mins before your given pickup time. And make yourself visible to Driver/Coach Captain. Coach drivers cannot wait if you are late. If you are late, you will need to make your own arrangements at own cost.
• International Hotel Chkin time 1400 hrs Chkout Time 1000hrs
• There is No Refund for un utilized Service 
• You are not allowed to eat/drink in coach.
• Room allocation -Twin rooms /Double room will be as per the availability at the time of check in.90% of rooms are Twin rooms and there is no guarantee for room with Double Bed.
• Room Rates based on Standard Rooms. Supplement cost will be applicable for Sea facing/Lake Facing Rooms.
• Breakfast will start from Day2 of the itinerary.
• Tap water is suitable for drinking. 
• Meals Doesn’t Include any Beverages Hard/Soft drinks, Fruit Juices
• Optional sightseeing has to be booked in advance on your own by paying an additional cost. You can contact hotel travel desk counter or our agent to book optional sightseeing.
• It is recommended to buy Local Sim Card, to make local calls for reconfirmation with coach drivers, operators, and airline office.
• We recommend taking Overseas Medical insurance.
• Portages and  Coach Captain Tips  are extra
• Baggage Allowance 20 Kg per person for Check in Baggage.5 Kgs for Cabin Baggage. 
• For NRI –Passengers staying in India for more than 180 days will have to take Police Clearance Certificate from Commissioner of Police. Passengers are  requested to submit  Xerox.

SELF DRIVE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

• An English printed license is compulsory to be carried
• Please read the agreement before signing the document for rental car, it is all subject to change on arrival, and is compulsory to be signed during collection of the car
• On the departure day, the car has to be returned with the petrol/diesel tank full and not empty.
• Please note that the car hire company can charge amount on the credit card if any damages are done to the car and Flamingo Transworld Pvt Ltd will not be liable to pay/refund these charges
• Please follow all traffic rules, since if you're charged for traffic fines they will charge on your credit card 1 month later as per govt rules.
• Any charges can be charged by the car rental company such as taxes, government fees, etc even after 2-3 months after the departure date, Flamingo Transworld Pvt Ltd will not be liable to pay/refund these charges
• Minimum age for vehicle hire 21 years of age. Additional charges applicable if hire below 25 years
• An international credit card (e.g. Visa, MasterCard, American Express) is required for insurance and bond these cannot be paid in cash and the hire must be the cardholder of the credit card.
• Fuel Cost will be extra to be paid by the client directly.
• Rates quoted on a 24 hour period and include insurance (subject to excess), unlimited kilometers and GST Tax.
• Airport Concession fee will apply for any hire commencing from an airport. This fee is to be paid by hirer direct to the rental company at hire commencement. Request quote at time of booking the hire for current charges
• Remote location pick-up fee is excluded. This fee is to be paid by hirer direct to the rental company at hire commencement.
• GPS Navigation units are available at additional Charge, payable to Car Hirer Company directly.
• Cars are confirmed per category and not by make or model, all confirmations subject to availability
• Parking charges /Toll taxes if applicable will be extra
• Do not drink alcohol before driving. Drinking and driving laws are strictly enforced

SOUTH AFRICA VISA INFORMATION:

• As an International Traveler one is obliged to obtain necessary visas for their required Travel. 
• As your tour operator we may give guidance to obtain for your visas but granting of the visas are solely at direction of respective consulate / embassy only. We act only as a facilitator for obtaining Visas. Consulate may ask you or entire family to appear personally for Interview or Biometrics. Any cost incurred for this must be paid by the passengers only.   
• If you are unable to travel on the Tour you have booked due to any error on the part of Embassy / Consulate or Incorrect Visas or Delayed Visas you shall have an option to travel on future date tour or change in your Individual Bookings.  Amendment and Cancellation charges applicable and are to be borne by the passengers only.
• Passengers confirming tour within 30 Days of travel date may face cancellation or date change of departure due to inadequate time for the visas. Heavy charges may apply on the same. However Flamingo will not be held responsible in case of any delay, rejection or non-availability of visas from the Consulate and passengers are liable to pay all the additional charges occur because of the same.
• VISA REQUIREMENTS
• Passport, (valid for at least 6 months after the intended stay/departure date From South Africa; at least Two unused/blank visa pages) (Along with Old Passport)
• PAN Card copy of each pax
• 3 recent photographs - fresh photographs
• Photo size 35mm by 45mm without border, without spectacles, without showing teeth, fully visible ears. 70% (3 CM) Full-face image from chin to crown and 20% Body Coverage (Shoulders Should be visible) taken against white background and with colorful clothes. The photo finishing should be matt or semi matt.
• 2 Business letterhead (for explaining purpose of travel)- to be signed as per passport and stamp with Designation
• 2 Business Cards
• Proof of funds (Last 06 month’s bank statement signed and stamped by the bank With a balance of INR 70,000 per person (Required original Indian bank statement on bank letterhead with Stamp and signature and No passbook, No e-statements, No Net banking copies Will be accepted.)
• Bank Balance Certificate (Must)
• N.O.C. from the employer (if Govt. employee)
• If a married couple does not have each other’s name in the passport under ‘SPOUSE’ column, a TRUE COPY (notary) of their marriage certificate is required (English only)
• Student’s ID card copy (TRUE COPY) or bonafide certificate (ORIGINAL) with Principal’s Name 
• Birth Certificate copy in English, True copy done by Gazetted Officer (For child below 18 years)
• Visa Form with sign - Same as per passport (Need both the Parents sign beside child’s sign below 18 years)
• Vaccination certificate, (yellow fever) if applicant will travel through or stay in yellow fever belt.
• There is no Refund if visa will reject.
• Please note: it takes minimum 15-20 working days for South Africa Visa

TOUR COST, TAXES & RATE OF EXCHANGE:

• ROE will be determined on the day when you make the final payment.
• All our Tours are priced Foreign Currency Amount (which is ZAR depending on Tour / Destination you choose to visit). However the cost must be paid in India before your departure in Indian Rupees only. Foreign Exchange Amount will be converted to Indian Rupees with the prevailing rate of exchange of respective currency, and 0.50p will be charged additional on the day when you make final Payment towards forex part.
• The initial deposits & initial payments will be towards the INR or Indian rupee payments only. Later, as and when you pay towards foreign exchange component, the rate of exchange is counted towards the forex rate prevailing on that day exchange rate. 

VALIDITY OF RATES, AIRFARE &TAXES:

• All rates are strictly subject to availability at the time of booking from Hotels, Meals, Sightseeing, Vehicles, etc.
• All the rates are subject to change without any prior notice
• PAYMENTS AND OPTIONS FOR PAYMENTS:
• Payments are accepted in Indian Rupees only. Payments can be made by Cheque, Bank Transfers, Demand Drafts, Cash (Maximum upto INR 49000/- per person with PAN Card Copy) and Credit Cards. 
• Copy of PAN Card is Compulsory to submit at the time of booking.
• If you are paying by Credit Card 2.5% of the amount paid by the card will be charged additionally on and above the tour cost.

PAYMENT POLICY PER PERSON:

• Initial Deposit: Rs.50, 000/- per person to confirm your booking with us. 
• 2nd Payment: 60 days prior to departure: 50% Of the Tour Cost per person
• Remaining Full Payment: 30 days prior to departure: 100% Of the Tour Cost per person

Please note that all Travel Documents for the Tour will be released only on the receipt of full payment clearance in our accounts.  

CANCELLATION CHARGES PER PERSON:

• 60 Days or more prior to Departure: Rs. 50000/- per person 
• 59 to 35 Days prior to Departure: 50 % of the Tour Cost per person 
• Within 35 Days of Departure: 100% of the Tour Cost per person 

*5% Service Tax is applicable on all cancellation amounts. 

REFUNDS:

• There will be no refund on unutilized services or partly utilized services.
• Due to reasons beyond our control such as strikes, heavy traffic, rain etc. or you did not use services such as Meals, Entrance Fees, Sightseeing Tour, Hotels, Cruises, Optional Tours it is clearly understood that there will be no refund due to any reason whatsoever. 
• Any refund (if due) process will take minimum 30 days or the time taken as per the supplier policy on whose services needs to be refunded. 
• Refunds will be given in Indian Rupees and through Cheque or Bank Transfers only in your account even though payment is done by cash. 
• If refund is due in foreign currency the ROE will be considered on the day when the payment was made.
• CANCELLATION AND / OR AMENDMENTS BY TRAVELER:
• All cancellations / amendments must be received in Writing to us either by email or WhatsApp and has to be followed by a phone call by a concerned traveler. Once received we shall action the same in 24 to 48 Hours. 
• Any amendments you make after booking the tour will be treated as new booking and will be strictly subject to availability and rates available at the time of changes requested. If the same is made within cancelation period, cancellation charges will apply. Also it is must to put this requests in writing and get confirmation is writing from our side
• If you wish to deviate your tour dates from the group, and plan to go earlier or come back later, no amendments can be done in the flight portion of the existing package. For such requests, you will have to issue the tickets separately.
• Any request to Change the tour date will be treated as cancellation on the last tour and fresh booking on the new tour. Cancellation charges will apply as stated above on the tour you are cancelling. New Tour may have different pricing even though may have a same itinerary and passengers are liable to pay the new tour charges. 
• Please note that Flamingo Transworld will not be liable to pay any Cancellation Charges / Compensation / Expenditure if you are unable to join the tour due to any illness, court orders,non-availability of travel documents or visas, any personal reasons the same has to be borne by passengers only. 

OVERSEAS TRAVEL INSURANCE:

• Overseas Medical insurance is mandatory for Travel to Africa Countries. 
• Please note, Insurance is the subject matter of solicitation, please read the terms and conditions of the insurance document carefully before finalizing your desired insurance cover. Insurance coverage may be age related. Kindly get the complete details from the insurer.
• Please note that you would have a direct contractual relation with the insurer and the Company is only a facilitator. You shall therefore check the accuracy and correctness of the insurance policy and in case of any error or lapse report the same to the Insurer directly and get the same rectified by them, as the Company would not be responsible for the same.
• We request you to understand the coverage of your insurance in details before obtaining and departing on your tour. Any claim needs to be put up directly by passengers with the insurer. Any approval or denial of the claims it’s solely at direction of the insurance company only and Flamingo will neither be held responsible nor liable nor required to give any compensation in any matter for whatsoever reason. 

HOTELS & ROOMING CONFIGURATION:

• Unlike Asian or other countries most of the hotel rooms in Africa are relatively small and not suitable to accommodate on triple (Adult) sharing. So we always suggest take single occupancy for triple sharing.
• Please note that the room configurations are either 2 x queen size beds or 1 x king size bed and a sofa cum bed
• Any of the room types are subject to availability when you arrive at the destination, we cannot pre-book specific room types from here
• Almost all the hotels have Twin rooms, so please note the same.
• In case of non-availability or necessary in case of unforeseen circumstances to change mentioned hotel Flamingo will reserve a similar category of substitute hotel. 
• Please note that standard check in time is 1500 Hrs and Check out is 1100 Hrs in Africa. (It may vary from Hotel to Hotel) 
• Room Rates are based on Standard Rooms. Supplement cost will be applicable for Sea Facing /Lake Facing / Deluxe / Suite Rooms / Higher categories.
• In Most of the hotels Location of the single, Double and triple room will may in different wings.
• Due to major international events and trade fairs throughout Africa such as Golf competition, Migration, etc., the hotels may be blocked out more than one year in advance. In view of this, you may have to stay in hotels further away from the cities or Main area of the city and the itineraries may have to be altered / amended.

PRIVATE VEHICLES:

• It is strictly not allowed to eat, drink or smoke inside the vehicle. 
• Coach Captains/Drivers are bound by South Africa laws and restrictions about driving hours per day and per week. All itineraries are planned as per them. Therefore it is absolutely essential for passengers to follow the time very strictly and punctually. 

TIPPING:

• Tipping is most recommended in Africa.
• Recommended amount is $4 per day per person
• Tips must be paid by all the passengers both Adults & Children. Tips remain the same.
• The tips will be considered for the total duration of the tour including the arrival & departure days.

FOOD AND WATER:

• Breakfast: Your breakfast is normally a continental breakfast which usually will have Tea or Coffee, Juices, Cereals, Milk, Breads, Butter, Jam, Fruits. No Indian item or Jain item may be available.
